my saturday

Posted on: June 2, 2007

Well, it has been a day of knitting, listening to my ipod and staying home. The Spunk is not at work for a change on a Saturday night which is a rarity. It has been a quiet day. In fact, when I think about it, I have not stepped outside! Here is what I have been doing today:

Looking out the window

Talking about knitting

Seeing people wearing their socks

Watching Tiny Madam take photos

Watching Purl take photos

and reading blogs. I have finished the foot of the Baudelaire and have started the gusset. I have finished a knee high sock for a teenager and she is happy.

I have cooked a delicious meal involving pasta, mushrooms, pancetta and leek. All is good in the world. Oh, and I have downloaded Skype. Now I just need someone to talk to!

Thanks so much for all of the comments on yesterday’s post!

Skype is cool – I will send you my contact once I am back out of the field and on my own computer. Then at least you can say that you “talk to Europe” on a regular basis!

Looks like a very pleasant way to start your holiday. Pearl is a great photographer!
Skype sounds interesting?!
Yum to that cooking!
Socks look great! 🙂

Isn’t it nice to while away the day doing more or less what you please? Great photos by the way!!
